Inspiration for your Luxury Winter Wedding

Luxury Winter Wedding Styling | Couture Events Wedding Planner

As a luxury wedding planner, there is nothing I love more than to create fresh, innovative ways to style a wedding so here I share with you some tips for how to inject some glamour into your luxury winter wedding.

Taking your floral design first, to really add an element of luxe to your arrangements, weave a mix of seasonal greenery along with silver sparkly twigs and foliage into your floral designs and add a light dusting of faux snow around the bases. Styling some of your tables with elegant crystal candelabra reminiscent of icicles, softening the look by adding twinkling mercerised nightlights around the base is another great way to elevate your winter styling. And no winter wedding would be complete without an installation of full size LED frosted Christmas trees for guests to wind their way through as they explore your venue to create a beautiful Narnia effect. On your tables, why not finish off each place setting with a little sprig of seasonal fir – and don’t forget to hang some mistletoe in a doorway!

Moving onto your luxury styling elements, here we created a magically suspended ceiling installation of twinkly silver & gold giant orbs and silver confetti balloons, complemented by snowflake gobos projected onto the walls. And who wants a string quartet dressed in black for their winter wedding when you can style them in sparkly dresses much more appropriate for the season? Same goes for your late-night party band – source some sparkly blazers and dresses for them and they’ll truly look the part.

Lastly, creating a bespoke cocktail menu inspired by the season is always fun for guests – who could resist mouthwatering luxury festive cocktails such as clementine, triple sec & burnt orange bellinis or perhaps cranberry & pomegranate bellinis and of course, late-night petits fours of mouthwatering mini mince pies dusted with icing sugar to round off the evening.

These images below show just how effective dressing your staircase can be, and adding a feature Christmas tree in the central landing. Such gorgeous styling at Home House, London.
