The Royal Hospital Chelsea is home to the world-famous Chelsea Pensioners, retired soldiers who have come to live in this very special place in their later years – profits from venue hire go towards caring for the Chelsea Pensioners and securing the future of the buildings. Wedding ceremonies may be conducted in the historic state apartments - which have hosted monarchs and notable figures since the 1700s – after which guests can make their way to Ranelagh Gardens for your marquee wedding reception – a secluded and picturesque area of the Royal Hospital estate, which forms part of the land used for the world famous Chelsea Flower Show. Chiswick House, Burlington Lane, Chiswick, W4 2RP
Chiswick House is an 18th-century villa set within stunning Italianate gardens and is a venue which has played host to lavish celebrations for hundreds of years. As well as the option to host. your wedding in the main House or Conservatory, in the summer season they open their semi-permanent marquee, the Burlington Pavilion, which can accommodate up to 220 guests for a dinner dance so is the perfect solution for larger weddings. The marquee comes with a neutral ivory interior and chandelier lighting and you can then style it to your own personal taste using the accredited suppliers.

Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, W8 4PX
Home of royalty past and present, few wedding venues can boast the elegance, majesty and timelessness of Kensington Palace. Separate to the main Palace is the Orangery, built in 1704 for Queen Anne, and although originally intended to winter her orange trees, it was instead frequently used as a venue for lavish balls and celebrations. These days, the Orangery can be exclusively hired for weddings and events – the terrace is the ideal location for a beautifully styled marquee allowing guests to enjoy outdoor drinks and canapes whilst overlooking the lawns before going into the Orangery for dinner and dancing. N.B.The Orangery is currently closed for conservation and restoration works so a semi-permanent pavilion structure is currently being offered as an event space until 2021.
